Community opportunity board
This is the community's own space to look out for each other: share opportunities you've come across, and talk about jobs, companies, and what to actually expect. Compare salary expectations, hear how a hiring process really went, or just call out something worth knowing before someone else applies.
Before you submit
- Only real, currently open opportunities. Pull the listing once it closes or fills.
- One opportunity per submission, with a direct link to apply or learn more.
- Be specific: the organization, what it actually is, and a deadline if there is one, enough for someone to decide whether it's worth their time.
- No self-promotion, paid courses, or anything that isn't a genuine opportunity for the person reading it.
- New submissions are reviewed before they go live; duplicates and anything that doesn't check out get rejected.
Using tags
- Reuse an existing tag if one already fits. Start typing and pick from the suggestions instead of creating a near-duplicate of the same idea ("NYSC" and "nysc" shouldn't both exist).
- Tags aren't a second location field. Skip city or country tags unless the opportunity genuinely spans more than one location; location already has its own field for that.
- Use tags for what the other fields can't capture: eligibility (NYSC, NSS, New Grad), perks (Funding available), or format (Reward, for a hackathon with a prize).
